Treasury Challenge... Kind of

I had an idea for a treasury that combined my Chinese Zodiac sign with my Astrological sign of Cancer. I am not a crazy astrology follower but I think everyone likes to read the place mats at the Chinese restaurants.

So on to the challenge part! So I challenge you to:

• Make a treasury based on your Chinese Zodiac and Astrological Zodiac sign
• Bonus if you stay in a theme like "everything blue" or "all jewelry"
• Additional Bonus if you find both your signs in one listing. (I hit the jackpot and found a zombie crabbit).
• No prizes or anything just for fun, put a link to your treasury in the comments!

Etsy Inspired Challenge #100 & Embellish Magazine

Congrats to Etsy inspired blog for their 100th challenge! Participating in these challenges has helped me so much in "unblocking" a clogged creative pipe in my head. Thank you for providing these great challenges and introducing me to such great Etsy Shops!
I wanted to do a combined challenge. I wanted to be true to both challenges (which is a challenge in itself). So this week I combined with a great challenge from Embellish Magazine. See their great blog HERE.

My Card:

For the Etsy Inspired challenge the shop is Cathy Walters. She makes super cute pendants. All the items were so beautiful I actually picked more than one for inspiration.










Embellish Magazine's challenge was this gorgeous color pallet and birds.

I am especially proud of this card because I actually scanned in a bird image from a bird field guide I bought at half price books for $2. I combined it with a beautiful font I have and printed it on watercolor paper. I am really happy with how it turned out.

10 Cards in 10 Weeks - Preppy Inspired Card #8

This is card #8 in my Preppy Inspired card (self imposed) challenge. That means only 2 more cards and Elle will be off to California starting her new life. I am super proud of her (don't tell her I said that!)

Elle is moving away very soon so each card signifies one week closer to her departure. We went shopping this weekend and she got some super cute outfits, but she can't wear them for her challenge because her rules say she can't wear anything new. (maybe I can talk her into breaking that rule, because she bought a maxi dress that is super cute!)

EBTKS Challenge - Sketches Inspire

While browsing through blog land, I came across the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Challenge. There inspiration this week was this fabulous sketch. I just had to try it out, I love the clean lines and simplicity of it. Be sure to check out the blog for some other great cards inspired by this sketch.

Etsy Inspired Challenge #88 - Challenges are fun!

This is my 4th time to participate in the Etsy inpired challenge. I have been inspired so much since I started and I am going to start entering more challenges soon! What a great way to get out of a creative rut! I am even thinking of starting a challenge about sock creatures to help fill my Wanted Creatures Etsy shop.

The shop this week is called Creation Designs, they sell cute vintage items. My inspiration piece was a cute Siamese cat statue. It was so cute that it already sold!

I absolutley love Siamese cats, well cats in general. Here is my beautiful girl! (remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder)



Now, all that is out of the way.... Here are my cards. I made a set of 4 coordinating mini cards.
